The Q&Q For 5/31/25

This week’s quote comes to us from none other than our own Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson, who said:

“I’m just as prone as everyone else to go, ‘Well, that’s wacko. That’s a conspiracy.’ But then you start getting the information and you start going, ‘Wow, is that weird.’ And as we find out, in so many different instances, you really can’t trust the government what they told you. I mean, the government has just repeatedly lied to the American public for decades on so many different issues. It’s sad. It shouldn’t happen, but it does.”

  1. What conspiracy has Johnson now bought into?

A) There was a second shooter on the Grassy Knoll in the JFK assassination.

B) Fluoride is a communist conspiracy.

C) Elvis isn’t dead.

D) The government blew up a building near the World Trade Center on 9/11.

2. What did civil engineers who studied the collapse of buildings on 9/11 conclude?

A) The government blew them up.

B) Elvis and JFK, both still alive and now part of an international conspiracy made up of a strange alliance between Mississippi farm boys and Boston brahmins (and, of course, Jewish bankers, but that goes without saying), conspired to blow up the buildings.

C) Fluoride in the water of the sprinkler systems acted like gasoline.

D) A combination of the tremors from the initial explosions and intense heat from the resulting fires, which damaged steel structural elements, led to the collapse of buildings near the Trade Center.

3. Johnson is suggesting, without any credible evidence, that the government is lying about 9/11. And yet, there is plenty of evidence that the Trump administration is lying right now by claiming:

A) Trump won the 2020 election.

B) Ukraine started the war with Russia.

C) The rioters on January 6th were actually attacked by the police.

D) Under Joe Biden, the U.S. sent $50 million (or maybe it was $100 million) worth of condoms to Hamas.

4. Which one of these conspiracy theories has Johnson NOT embraced (yet)?

A) Climate change is a hoax.

B) Vaccinations are more dangerous than disease.

C) The 2020 election was fraught with fraud.

D) Elvis is alive.

5. Speaking of lies, what lie did Johnson tell in 2016?

A) “Elvis is alive.”

B) “The check is in the mail.”

C) “I’m going to serve in the fine Wisconsin tradition of independently minded mavericks, like Russ Feingold and Bill Proxmire.”

D) “I will not run for a third term.”

6. Speaking from his secluded cabin in the hills of eastern Tennessee, Elvis had this to say about Johnson.

A) “Aside from my still being alive, all this other stuff is just crazy, man.”

  1. Looks like you pulled this from a Tucker Carlson interview. Johnson states 9/11 families came to him asking for help with heavily redacted 9/11 reports from the FBI. So government not necessarily lying but certainly not telling the whole truth.

I think the government loves the building 7 conspiracies because it keeps people’s attention off Saudi Arabia. YMMV. Remember stay away from bats because that’s where COVID came from.
