This week’s quote comes to us from none other than Gen Z cultural icon Charli XCX, who said:

“kamala IS brat.” (Improper capitalization is her own.)

She went on to explain “brat”, thusly: “You’re just like that girl who is a little messy and likes to party and like maybe says some like dumb things sometimes who like feels herself but then also maybe has a breakdown but then kinda like parties through it, is very honest, is very blunt, a little bit volatile, yeah, like does like dumb things, but like it’s brat, you’re brat, that’s brat.”

Ok, so I admit it. Until she endorsed Harris I had never heard of Charli XCX and I thought brat was something that needed to be eaten hot off the grill with sauerkraut and spicy mustard. But, as part of my due diligence in producing the Q&Q, I did listen to some of her music. Very catchy. Got a good beat. I could dance to it, if I danced, which I most definitely do not.
