Okay, I trust you got the lame Groundhog Day joke by now, so let’s move on. Ramaswamy wrote on Twitterex:

Usually in this spot we place a picture of the quoted person, but do you really want to look at Vivek Ramaswamy?

I wonder who’s going to win the Super Bowl next month. And I wonder if there’s a major presidential endorsement coming from an artificially culturally propped-up couple this fall. Just some wild speculation over here, let’s see how it ages over the next 8 months.

Ramaswamy is referring to a MAGA conspiracy theory that purports that the NFL has decided to throw the Super Bowl to Kansas City so that Chiefs fan Taylor Swift and the subject of her fandom, Travis Kelce, can become more popular than ever, they’ll then endorse Joe Biden and thus Biden will beat Donald Trump. Got that? Okay, let’s go.

  1. This theory’s major flaw is that:

A) Taylor Swift could not possibly become more popular.

B) Tipping the election either way wouldn’t make the NFL a dime and the NFL very much likes its dimes.

C) It’s endorsed by Vivek Ramaswamy.

D) It’s just bat-shit crazy.

2. When Swift endorsed the Democrat in the Tennessee U.S. Senate race in 2018:

A) The Democrat won by 11 points.

B) The Democrat lost narrowly, but performed much better than expected.

C) The Democrat lost by 11 points.

D) The Democrat lost but didn’t care because he got free concert tickets.

3. Comparing Swift and Trump as businesspeople, which things has Swift failed to do?

A) Declare bankruptcy even once.

B) Lie about the value of her assets to deceive lenders and investors.

C) Stiff vendors.

D) Start a fake “university” to defraud students and end up paying out $25 million in damages.

4. Trump has a net favorability rating of -16. That is, 16% more people dislike him (52%) than like him (36%). What’s Taylor Swift’s net favorability?

A) -16

B) +10

C) +16

D) +48

5. What’s the difference between Taylor Swift’s and Donald Trump’s estimated net worth?

A) Swift is worth about $2 billion more.

B) Trump is worth about $2 billion more.

C) They’re about the same.

D) Swift is worth about $5 billion more.

6. Swift has a concert in Japan the night before the Super Bowl. What are the chances she’ll make it in time for the kickoff?

A) Fingers crossed United doesn’t cancel her connecting flight at O’Hare.

B) She’ll make it, but she’ll look like a mess because she can’t sleep in those cramped coach seats though luckily she gets the hot towel just before landing.

C) Of course she’ll make it since the NFL and Biden are sending Air Force One to pick her up.

D) She’ll probably make it, but her luggage is another story.

Answers

1: All are correct.

2: C

3: All are correct.

4: C

5: B However, Swift’s estimated $1 billion is real while Trump’s $3 billion has as much credibility as he does.

6: All answers are incorrect. She’ll be there and she’ll look just great.

That’s it for this week. Truth is I don’t care who wins the Super Bowl. I’m still mourning over the Lions. Detroit deserved a break. See you Monday.

  1. Vivek is a dumbhead.

Everyone knows it’s the Russians colluding with the Chiefs.

Ok maybe that one doesn’t have the legs it once had.

Anyway… End Racism in the NFL!
