The Q&Q For 1/5/24

We’re back with the Quote and Quiz, a popular regular Friday feature here at YSDA. Well, that’s not entirely accurate, but it does regularly appear on Fridays.

You can’t get enough of Chancellor-Porn Star Joe Gow, can you? Well, neither can we. This week’s quote comes to us from UW Regents Chair Karen Walsh, who in a statement announcing the Regents’ decision to dismiss Gow said:

“The outrage over his behavior is evidenced by the unanimous vote by the UW Board of Regents to terminate him as chancellor. We are alarmed, and disgusted, by his actions, which were wholly and undeniably inconsistent with his role as chancellor.”

The Regents meet to consider the fate of Joe Gow.

    1. Interpretation for readers: Betty White appeared on the cover of People Magazine touting her 100th birthday days before she died. One Eye apparently believes I’ve just jinxed the Pack. He doesn’t understand that my team needs no help in this regard. See last year’s final game at home against Detroit.
