The Q&Q For 6/29/24

This week’s quote comes to us from Pres. Joe Biden, who said at Thursday night’s debate:

“We’d be able to right wipe out his debt. We’d be able to help make sure that all those things we need to do—childcare, elder care, making sure that we continue to strengthen our health care system, making sure that we’re able to make every single solitary person eligible for what I’ve been able to do with the—with—with—with the COVID. Excuse me, with dealing with everything we have to do with—look, if—we finally beat Medicare.”

No jokes in the Q&Q today because this isn’t a joking matter on any level. Joe Biden is a good man experiencing the diminished capacity we all will someday if we’re lucky enough to live that long. Donald Trump has the clear upper hand now in winning back the presidency. And it’s an open question as to whether or not the Democratic Party has the capacity to stop a train wreck they can see coming.
